Debbie Hennessey - "Good As Gone"

Debbie Hennessey has released her new award-winning cd, Good As Gone.  Music Connection raves about her "...bold, husky delivery...catchy hooks and spot-on arrangements..." and says that she is "...surrounded by pro-calibre talent...".  After listening to a few tracks myself, I definitely agree.

Debbie was named AC40 Female Artist of the Year by New Music Weekly, is an ASCAPlus Award receipent, was included on compilation CDs from CMT New Music Collection, GoGirls MusicFest and MS Music Fest, named Best Vocalist of the Month by SingerUniverse, received a Billboard World Song Contest Honorable Mention, and named Artist of the Month by Songsalive!

Good As Gone is a blend of country, rock and soul and every song delivers with its own flavor.  I sampled a few and was pleasantly rewarded: "Good As Gone" is the first song on the album.  Its toe-tappin' quality left me craving more and more.   Debbie's music video for this song will be coming out at the end of the month.

"Love Might Change Your Mind", a sweet, yet strong song that ensues hope for even the most jaded of lovers.  "When Two Become One" is a classic love song that will definitely stand the test of time.  After hearing this song, one may be inspired to pick up the phone and call their honey.  It makes me reminisce of nights in the backseat at the drive-in!  ~sigh~ those were the days...

Speaking of drive-ins, "Walking On A Wire", more rock than country, deserves to be in the next blockbuster love flick!  Beautiful.

Good As Gone and her debut CD Rustic Heart (also amazing) are available through many music outlets including iTunes, CDBaby, Amazon, Rhapsody, Sony Connect, Buy Music, and Best Buy or by calling 1-800-BUY-MY-CD.

Singer-songwriter, Gypsy creates a unique sound of folk, pop and rock stemming from her rich musical upbringing of Americana roots music.  Gypsy’s songs channel her deep life experiences through poetic lyrics and lilting, beautiful vocals. Growing up in a musical family, Gypsy wrote her first song at the age of five after hearing many of Mom and Dad's living room "jam sessions" with the likes of Tag Lambert (lead guitarist for Bob Wills), and others.  Gypsy was inspired to pursue the life of a musical artist after hearing her Mom’s recordings on the local country stations in Arizona.  Also, Gypsy’s uncle Don Rollins wrote the smash hit, "The Race Is On" recorded by George Jones, Ricky Nelson and The Grateful Dead. Writing is in her blood and deep in her heart.
