"I want to see you. Tomorrow. Morning.” I was short of breath. Men just didn’t claim me like this in life. They seem wishy washy asking what would l like to do, where would I like to go… I have to decide enough as a single working mom… I yearn for a man who knows what he wants… and man, oh man was I happy when this new man I’m dating wanted me!

Yet I remember the days as I was learning how to NOT be so needy, trying to find my independence and choosing to open my own doors… I was pissed if a man told me what to do. Then I loved knowing I could provide for myself, think for myself, even orgasm for myself (handy little “rabbit”, yes girls? Ha). It felt sooo much better than going to Trader Joes and wondering, “Is that him? Is that him?” to every poor male passerby… and yet it attracted surfers, new age feminine men. 

Now, thank the Universe, I’m in a place where sparks of passion are flying indeed!!  I’ve learned that I needed to expand into a more deep, grounded, luscious feminine place. It’s certainly NOT a softening of my power, yet it is a relaxing of my over developed masculine side and inviting my powerful feminine side to step up.

Men, be willing to walk right into the room, slowly yet straight for her, eyes fixed on her, grab her by the small of her back, close to you, don’t move your shoulders or head, keep them fixed yet sway her ever so gently with your hips and try something like, “Get dressed. I’m taking you out.” ESPECAILLY if you never talk to her like this. You MUST do this with your heart open, a sly twinkle in your eye, as if devouring her with your consciousness…. You can’t do this if you’re not present or she will probably slap you. I want you to win!!!

Women, be willing to invite him to claim you by taking a few moments to breath before he comes home, light some incense, put on some music, change your clothes, move your hips a bit… even 5 minutes of this will totally change your energy before he comes home… or if you’re coming home last… tell him it would mean a lot to you if you could have 10 minutes to yourself and then shower him with your luscious radiance when you reappear. With kids it’s more challenging to get into your feminine because you’re taking care of them all the time… yet begin a ritual of TV OFF before dinner, music on, candles lit, and mom changes into something more comfortable… and even if it makes the kids puke, kiss him for at least 6 seconds and breath into your vagina as you do so… ground your body and show the kids what true love, honor and adoration looks like. And if you’re a single mom, STILL do all these rituals and hug your kids and dance with them on the coffee table as I do… sparks of passion can be sexual or sensual… sensual is when you are savoring life’s juiciness until you feel overflowing… this is how to feel full, ripe, peaceful and divine. This is your birthright- celebrate it this 4th!
