A Feng Shui Story... Once upon a Baby...

Once upon a time... there was a woman named Tracy and she went to see a Feng Shui Consultant, named Terri. Tracy had been trying to have a baby but no matter what she did, nothing worked. She just knew she had the space in her home and heart for a new addition to her family, so she asked Terri for help. Terri went to Tracy's home and right away noticed some important clues that might have contributed to Tracy's lack of success. When entering their bedroom, Terri saw that the bed was not in the power position. "Oh no", said Terri. There was also a door leading to the outside deck that was blocked with furniture. "That won't do", said Terri. Those two things jumped out at Terri, for she knew that they could lead to blocked energy and difficulty in reproducing! Also, the bed being in the wrong position could contribute to a restless sleep which would not support reproducing. Terri knew that Tracy was living in the moment but wanted to share all of her future moments with a new baby so Terri and Tracy got to working. They moved the bed. They de-cluttered the room. They unblocked the doorway to the outside deck. They even removed things from underneath the bed for good chi circulation. "Whew", said Tracy and Terri. Three months later, Tracy was calling Terri with the wonderful news of her pregnancy! "Yeah, baby yeah", said Terri. Today Tracy has 2 healthy boys and lives in a great flowing, uncluttered home, except for a few Tonka trucks. The End.
If you'd like to tell your own story to a little one in your future, use these items and their symbolic energy to tell the universe exactly what you are ready for:
B is for the hollow bamboo that you should place in the north sector of your bedroom. Keep it nice and healthy, wilting plants contribute to negative energy that we definitely don't want!
A is for all around de-cluttering. Yep, I said it. You're making room for the new baby so you have to remove old, unwanted items.
B is for the brass wind chime that you should add to the entrance of your home. This stimulates energy and invites it inside. Keep your front door, where all energy enters the home, as clean, uncluttered and beautiful as possible.
I is for installing an oscillating fan in the bedroom. Place it in your NW corner and watch as it promotes luck in the bedroom! Turn it off though when sleeping, you wouldn't want to confuse the luck so that it has nowhere to attach itself. Also, this will keep you sleeping more soundly.
E is for the pair of elephants that you should place on either side of your bedroom door. Or place an elephant statue in your living room. They are just another symbol of fertility.
S is for the symbol of marital union represented by the double fish. Display this in the southwest corner of your bedroom.
With these tools you'll be telling your own Once Upon a Time stories sooner than you can say Feng Shui Me Baby!
