Sounding Your Chakras—Fireworks from the Inside

Here’s a way for sex goddesses to make noise on the Fourth of July—or any day.  A powerful meditation to clear and balance yourself and set the stage for creating personal fireworks. 

Your chakras are energy centers that are vital to your pleasure and sexual pleasure.  You can use the sound of your voice to awaken them.  Be prepared to feel relaxed, energized, and attuned—to your self, your partner, and the universe.

1. Start at your root chakra at the base of your spine with the sound “ohhhh.”  Feel your voice vibrate deeply into the earth.  Chant “I am,” and feel connection.

2. Sound your second chakra slightly higher with “ooooh.”  Feel your voice vibrate into your uterus, vagina, and clitoris.  Move your pelvis until you feel the roots of your sexual desire. Chant “I want,” and feel your ability to open.

3. Sound your third chakra with “awwww.”  Hands on your solar plexus.  Feel your will.  Feel your power pour through you.  Chant “I deserve,” and feel your worthiness.

4. Sound your heart chakra with “ahhhh” until you feel love surrounding you—pouring into you, pouring out from you.  Chant “I love,” and fill with acceptance.

5. Sound your throat chakra with “eeeee.”  With your fingers, pull the sound from your throat and send its sweetness out into the world.  Chant “I reach out,” and feel resonance. 

6. Sound your third eye with “mmmmm.”  Let yourself see as far as you can into the sexual mysteries.  Chant “I see” and welcome what comes to you.

7. Sound your crown chakra with “nnnng” (like “sing”), the sound of a bell.  Visualize your crown opening and light pouring in from the universe.  Chant “I know," and fill with light from the universal mind.

Let the energies envelop you.  Take time to notice how you feel—body, mind, heart, and soul.  Move your body, or rest, as spirit dictates.  And know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are an earthly sex Goddess.
