A Tip of the Hat to 2009

It's 2009, and this year is no different. We all make resolutions and sometimes we even break them. Here's the chance to shake things up a bit...

In Feng Shui, your front door means the world and put more simply it's the entrance to your world. So look outside your front door and tell me what you see. Is there an old door mat? Is the image distorted on it? Are the fibers torn and tattered? Is there no welcome mat at all?

There's a simple solution to this issue and aren't we all longing from something simple to start off our year? Go get a new one. Hey, the act of replacing your old one, can even help with that other resolution, to get in shape! So let's do this exercise together.

1. Bend over
2. Lift the old mat
3. Toss it out or better yet, recycle
4. Go to the store
5. Buy a new mat, blue is a great color or even one that has a water image on it. This supports your career.
6. Drive home
7. Do another deep bend ... make this one a squat
8. Lay out your new, beautiful door mat so all will feel welcome into your home.
